Turn on the radio on any given day of the week, tune in to any of the hundreds of stations that play popular music, wait a maximum of four-and-a-half minutes, and withinin that time you will hear a Rihanna song. Its a fact. As certain as night follows day. Or Manchester City bottling it this year (sorry Blues, couldn't resist). Not that I find it too much of a problem, mind, as her songs definitely have a cool, catchy appeal to them. And she teamed up with Eminem not so long ago, so earns invaluable street cred in my otherwise harsh eyes (something I'm sure she'd be particularly pleased about). Anyroad, the reason for my even mentioning the lovely Rihanna was that I was luck enough to photograph her performing last week!! Well, kind of. Well, ok, not at all.....but I did photograph a pretty good Rihanna tribute act, which visually speaking is almost as good (almost). Below are a couple of pics of her and her dancers rocking the dancefloor with their raunchy (but not too raunchy) little routine.....
