I like to fade into the background as much as humanly possible, and just capture events as they naturally unfold. I believe its the only way to capture the real, raw emotions we all experience, and if I am barely noticed at all, I consider that a good thing.
I don’t believe in awkward posing of any kind....ultimately, its all about you enjoying yourselves on your special day with your family and friends, and my job is to capture all the action without ever getting in the way of it!
"Having Rob there on our special day was truly an amazing experience. His knowledge and expertise in photography shines through not only in his unbelievable photos, but in the fact on the day you feel calm and composed to be photographed all day. He captures you in the best of light all the time and knows exactly what angle and background there should be for the perfect photo! Five-star rating. Five-star photos. Five-star man!" - Jake Delmonte, groom
"Rob's pictures of our wedding are amazing - really couldn't have asked for anything better. He captured everything we wanted and more, and in a natural and artistic way. He is calm, friendly and positive - exactly the person you want to have around your wedding day, and most of the time you don't even realise he is there!" - Aviva Lewis, bride
"Rob was great - it was an absolute pleasure to have him around on our big day. He managed to capture all the special moments and recreate in photos the fun atmosphere of our wedding. We were really pleased that we didn't have to do any awkward posing and could just be natural... Robs passion for photography really shone through and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks Rob - you've made a day last a lifetime through beautiful photos." - Debbie Cohen, happy bride
Jen & Paul's Wedding - Tel Aviv, IsraelMy youngest brother Paul and sister-in-law Jen were married in the most awesome settings in Tel Aviv, Israel, with the most beautiful bridesmaid ever (my little girl....no bias here!).
The day itself couldn't have gone more perfectly, from the outdoor rooftop wedding ceremony, to the delicious food, the funny speeches, the amazing atmosphere and the crazy dance floor action. Of course, I was delighted to be asked to photograph their big day, and had so much fun doing so.
I know a lot of other professional photographers look forward to being able to attend a wedding without having to worry about capturing all the action, or which lens to choose for what, and the associated pressure that comes with such a big responsibility. But I truly, genuinely love doing what I do, and am just so much more comfortable in every way when there's a camera between me and the world. Plus, had I been just a 'guest', the truth is I wouldn't have been able to stop watching the photographer anyway, assessing their methods, thinking about how I would be doing things differently, etc. Because my mind just won't switch off. So yes, I was very much in my element on the day itself.
