Bridget and Jamie celebrated their incredible wedding at the MacDonald Hotel in Craxton Wood, Cheshire.
Before the wedding, I had been out with the couple shooting their engagement pics at Salford Quays, so already knew that not only are they a very chilled and relaxed couple, but as well so comfortable in each others presence that photographing them together and showing their closeness was honestly easy.
So after an hour-long journey down the M6, I arrived at Bridget’s busy bridal prep, where she was busy readying herself for the day ahead, surrounded by family.
Jamie’s groom prep was equally laid-back, and before we knew it the groom and ushers were being swung round in circles by the rabbi at the tish.
After the traditional Jewish wedding custom of the bedeken, where the groom pulls the veil over his bride, it was on to the beautiful ceremony where bride and groom became husband and wife.
Special mention must go to the ushers who did a stella job rounding people up for the formal family photographs, allowing us to speed through them in record time, and before we knew it the couple pictures were in the bag too, and the party was ready to start.
And what a party!
Making their way through a tunnel of hoops and a shower of confetti, Jamie and Bridget arrived on the dancefloor to a storm of dancing, with so much action and energy that every moment in every direction there were great pictures to be taken.
Speeches throughout the evening were in turn touching, heartfelt, and highly amusing, entirely fitting of the atmosphere of the day itself.
Credit also to the happy couple on a perfect first dance, where again their closeness was on full display.
But with an atmosphere as electric as it was, there was no keeping the guests down, and the night passed in a blur of dancing, spinning, jumping, twirling, and lots of laughing.
Another big congrats to the newlyweds on a perfect day.
And here for your viewing pleasure is but a selection of my images from their big day:
