Laura and Avi celebrated their beautiful wedding a couple of weeks ago with an intimate gathering of their closest friends and family.
It was my second time photographing a wedding since lockdown eased up a little here in Manchester, and it really did feel great to be back doing my thing once again.
The day itself saw lots of people coming and going at various different times, so that numbers were always kept low, but spirits were definitely kept up, and then some.
As always, I started with the bride at her bridal prep, as Laura was pampered and readied for the day ahead.
It was a quick journey round the corner to Avi, where his groomsmen made me feel particularly unfit as they effortlessly went through a quick fitness regime.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and with the ceremony taking place in the garden of a private residence, it’s a good job it did.
With Eli Tamir – whose father sang at my own barmitzvah some 25 years ago – beautifully providing the vocals throughout, the ceremony was truly lovely.
And before we knew it, we were making our way through the family photo list before I headed off to Heaton Park with the newlyweds.
Once the couple shots were in the bag, we made our way back to the home where the bridal prep had taken place for the remainder of the evening.
Another huge, huge mazal tov to the very happy couple.
And here for your viewing pleasure is but a selection of my images from their big day:
