Danielle and Sam celebrated their incredible wedding at the beautiful Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire
As always, my day started early, photographing all the shenanigans of Danielle’s busy bridal prep, where she was joined by her bridesmaids and family members.
Meanwhile, after making his entrance to a lot of fanfare from his boys, groom Sam and his groomsmen were treated to an expert groomer, who helped them tie their ties and generally look spit-spot.
Before we knew it, the tish was underway and an emotional groom made his way through to the bedeken to cover the veil over his bride’s face.
The ceremony was held outside in the beautiful gardens of Nunsmere Hall, a perfect setting for a perfect ceremony.
And as the glass was smashed at the end, so the atmosphere immediately kicked up another gear, with the couple being led back down the aisle to the chorus of a lot of singing and dancing.
With the formal family pics, and a few more intimate couple pics, in the bag, it was on to the dinner and dancing.
And this is where the action went into overdrive, with the newlyweds making their entrance through a tunnel of feathered arches and an avalanche of confetti, and straight on to a pumping dance floor.
I am an action guy. I like action. I like peak action. And I love peak action imagery. So the dance floor at Sam and Danielle’s was a positive treat for me to photograph, keeping me on my toes at all times, and willingly accepting the occasional bump from time to time.
But when the atmosphere is so electric, there’s nothing else for it other than to get in the thick of the melee.
The speeches were both thoughtful and extremely funny, and the evening proceeded along without a single hitch.
All in all, a truly special day for Danielle and Sam, and the perfect start to married life together.
