Nature Photography Prints | Flower & Wildlife Fine Art

Detailed, natural photography of flowers, insects and wildlife, available as carefully produced fine art prints

Nature Photography at a Glance

This is a slower, more considered side of my work.

No timelines, no direction, no pressure to create anything on demand. Just time spent observing small details in nature - flowers, insects, and wildlife that are often overlooked.

These images are less about documenting and more about creating something still. Something that holds attention in a quieter way.

These images are designed to be lived with.

They are not loud or trend-driven. They are simple, detailed, and consistent, which makes them easy to return to over time without feeling dated.

Flower & Botanical Photography

A large part of this collection focuses on flowers and plant life.

Rather than wide scenes, the emphasis is on detail - how light falls across petals, how colour shifts, and how simple compositions can hold attention.

These images tend to be calm, minimal, and colour-led.

These work particularly well as prints in:

  • Bedrooms

  • Living spaces

  • Calm, neutral interiors

They add colour and interest without overwhelming a space.

Nature Photography at a Glance

This section focuses on insects and pollinators, often photographed at very close range.

You’ll see:

  • Bees and hoverflies

  • Butterflies and moths

  • Spiders and caterpillars

  • Fine detail in motion

These images are more intricate and detailed, often revealing things you wouldn’t normally notice.

These work well in:

  • Offices

  • Creative spaces

  • Feature areas

They suit spaces where you want something more visually engaging and detailed.

Wildlife & Animal Portraits

Alongside macro work, there is a selection of wildlife and animal portraits.

These range from:

  • Safari animals such as giraffes, elephants, zebras, and leopards

  • Close-up animal studies such as cats and dogs

  • Behavioural moments capturing interaction, expression, and movement

The focus is on presence and simplicity, capturing something of the animal’s character.

These work particularly well as:

  • Statement pieces

  • Larger prints

  • Focal points within a room

Bird Photography

This section focuses on birds captured in simple, often fleeting moments.

Rather than static wildlife shots, the emphasis is on movement, timing, and shape - silhouettes in the sky, birds in flight, or brief interactions with their environment. Many of these images rely on light and positioning rather than detail, creating a more minimal, graphic feel.

You’ll see:

  • Birds in flight and mid-movement

  • Silhouettes against sky or light

  • Subtle interactions with landscape and structure

These images tend to feel lighter and more open compared to other sections.

They work particularly well as:

  • Minimal statement pieces

  • Prints for modern interiors

  • Images that add space and contrast within a room

Texture, Detail & Natural Moments

Some images don’t fit neatly into categories but still form an important part of the collection.

This includes:

  • Mushrooms and natural textures

  • Patterns and repetition

  • Light interacting with surfaces

  • Subtle environmental details

These are often the most minimal images, but also the most versatile.

They work well as:

  • Smaller prints

  • Paired or grouped sets

  • Subtle additions to a space

How to Choose the Right Image

Think about the space, not just the image

The best prints do not just look good on screen, they work within your space.

A simple way to think about it:

  • Soft floral images feel calm and subtle

  • Macro and insect detail feels intricate and engaging

  • Wildlife portraits feel bold and more dominant

If you send over a photo of your space, I can suggest what would work best.
